CCE INFORM
Virtual Reality Experience &
Making Meaning Workshop
Immersive VR
This workshop focuses on our CCE Virtual Reality 360 film Change your Game. The 25 minute VR film includes interactive game play and immediately immerses the viewer into the gritty and hard-hitting reality of organised crime and county lines.
Decision-based
The VR experience is viewed through the eyes of the young person, ‘Charlie’, who is being targeted, tested and trapped by a criminal gang. The viewer is asked to make a series of decisions throughout the piece as they witnesses Charlie become more and more involved in county lines activity.
Co-written with young people who shared their lived experiences, the piece has also been developed in conjunction with South Yorkshire Police and City of Doncaster Council Children’s Services.
Building awareness
The virtual reality film is used as the catalyst and initial introduction into some of the issues around CCE. Following the VR training session, delegates experience workshop content designed to derive meaning of the virtual reality experience. The aim is to ensure a deep understanding of the issues covered and help them build awareness to take into the future and into their professional work.
