Gamechanger Nominated for The Children & Young People Now Awards 2024!

The awards, now in their 19th year, showcase innovation and outstanding practice across the children’s services sector. They also provide a rare opportunity to champion the vital work of services supporting children, young people and families across the UK.

While we are delighted to be recognised for all the hard work we have put in developing and delivering the Gamechanger programmes, we’d also like to give massive kudos to the other shortlisted companies that are making a real difference to Children and Young People’s lives in the UK.

Gamechanger have been nominated for 2 categories:

– The Safeguarding Award
– The Digital Innovation Award

We entered the awards referencing our 3 main Gamechanger programmes:

• Our IMPACT programme is designed for early intervention has been developed to raise awareness of key social issues facing young people in the UK today. This has been delivered successfully for over 2 years. 

• Our INTERVENTION programme is suitable for young people aged KS3/11+yrs and is ideal for smaller groups of targeted learners identified as potentially at risk. Delivered as a 6 week blended learning programme, it combines cutting-edge digital experiences like VR, online interactive resources and facilitator-led Gamechanger challenges.

• Our INFORM Virtual Reality training experiences have been developed in conjunction with subject matter experts to deliver practical learning. Our training experiences include 360 ‘live action’ immersive films with interactive game play to inform professionals by bringing challenging social issues to life.
